- First in India to be trained in complex coronary interventions in Toyohashi Heart Center, Japan.
- First to be trained in complex CTO interventions by Katoh & Suzuki and bring in India the retrograde techniques like CART & Reverse CART that revolutionized management of CTO.
- First Indian to expertise IVUS, Virtual Histology, OCT in Japan.
